A Welcomed Privilege

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

The Sunday School children will sing again this Sunday, and sometimes I need to remind myself to pause and listen to their voices, as they not only sing praises to God but also help lead us in song!

This is a wonderful gift and privilege we have at Good Shepherd—many young people offering not only their voices but also their talents to the church. You can imagine that many congregations are in a very different situation from ours, praying for God to send them young people and children to bring energy to their sanctuaries. 

If you get a chance, please thank the children of Good Shepherd for singing in the Divine Service, thank the leaders and accompanists who support the children, and thank everyone (young and old) who lends their musical talents to Good Shepherd!
