Welcome Home

It’s not often a church gets to welcome back a son of the congregation, but that’s exactly what Good Shepherd will do this Sunday when Pastor Josh Benish returns! 

Pastor Benish grew up attending Good Shepherd Church before attending seminary. When he received his first Divine Call, he was installed as a church planter for the South Wisconsin District of the LCMS, and he now shepherds a congregation in Monroe, WI.

Pastor Benish will lead the Divine Service this Sunday, deliver the sermon, and during Bible Study, discuss the church plant he is leading in southern Wisconsin.

Please come this Sunday to learn about the good work and the proclamation of the Gospel happening in our district, as shared by a son of the congregation.

To make this Sunday possible, I will be away leading the Divine Service and Bible Study at Pastor Benish’s church, then heading to Fort Wayne, IN, for doctoral classes. I will miss you all this week, but I look forward to seeing all of you next week!
